Poem i found...

Hey guys I found this poem, just wondering what you guys thought of it. Just comment and tell me what you think of it.

Sitting on a bench by a playground I stop and start to think
Of how our nation is starting to become on the brink
Of utter destruction, from sin and shame and debt.
If impurity was a liquid, we'd be soaked and not just wet.
Yet still there are God's followers who are alive today
And sometimes do not live for Him, we simply back away.
Now I'm not criticizing all my fellow believers out there
For I too fall short quite often, it seems as if I don't care.
But truly I do, yes truly I do and most of you do as well.
For I know that though we sin, no one wants to go to hell.
so what is this thing that makes us sin, this thing that makes us fall?
It is sin, it is temptation: Man's enemy from the beginning of it all.
But we also have a part in it, which really ignites the flame
It's man's selfish desire which causes us such shame.
But thanks be to our great God, who forever reigns on high
Who sent his only Son to us, where on a cross he died.
He bore all our shame and suffered all our woes
Except that on that blessed third day, up from the grave He arose.
Now we can spend all of eternity with not only our heavenly Father
But His sacred Son, His only lamb, our Saviour, our Lord, our God.
Friend, that's all I want, all I can and will ever need
To live a pure, true, and happy life that's all I need indeed.

Back for a little bit

Well, I'm going to just post right now so the blog won't just never be updated. I'm not sure who all's going to Worlds of Fun but I kinda want to know because .....I don't know I just do. I know that Tyler, Taylor, Joe, Jon, I think Ben and Josh, the twins, and Danae are going. Other than that I have to clue, so please tell me. Wait, darn those are all the people that actually get on the blog...dang it. Oh well, idk I'm not going to post really anything more now so bye.

P.S. Please everyone be praying for Laura's dad, Fred, that he'll be healed because he's really not doing well right now. He has a tumor or something of the sort. Just please pray for him and his family.

Little tidbits about me lately

Well meh. I'm not too happy right now...I just got back from the hair-hacking-away place and they chopped off a lot of my hair...possibly 4 inches or so, so now my hair's about the same length as Tyler's I think. I really don't like it a whole lot but oh well. It's my fault anyways. Anyways, how have you all been? Contest was really good for me score-wise although it was insanely boring most of the day. I got a 1+ on my piano solo, a 1 on my voice solo, our choir got a 1, our Bel Canto ensemble got a 1+, and our Gold ensemble got a 1+ as well. Well, I have to go rake the excess grass from our backyard...bleh....but I will see you on Sunday!!! adios amigos! (this has been silly songs with Larry. Tune in next time to hear Larry say, "Bob is really angry! I hope he doesn't catch me! It's so hard to run with this sombrero on my head!") just had to do that tyler...haha

P.S. This was my ingenious way of getting water out of the water bucket without a cup at camp. The only problem was I'd usually come back into the cabin with my entire shoulder soaked and freezing. Bye
